At FsiBlog, your satisfaction matters to me. While I create everything with love and care from my London studio, I understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned. This policy explains what happens if you need to return something or request a refund.

What This Policy Covers

This Refund and Returns Policy applies to:

  • Original Paintings – Hand-painted and printed by me
  • Physical Art Prints – Created and printed in my studio
  • Any Physical Products sold through FsiBlog

Original Artwork – Special Policy

Why Original Art Sales Are Final

Each painting I create is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art. Once it leaves my studio, it cannot be resold as “new” to another customer. For this reason:

Original paintings and custom artwork are FINAL SALE

  • No returns accepted on original artwork
  • No exchanges on one-of-a-kind pieces
  • All sales are final once shipped

Exceptions for Original Artwork

I WILL accept returns and provide full refunds for original artwork ONLY if:

  • The artwork arrived damaged during shipping
  • You received the wrong painting
  • The artwork is significantly different from what was described/shown
  • There’s a defect in the artwork that wasn’t disclosed

Art Prints – Return Policy

7-Day Return Window

For art prints (not original paintings), you have 7 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

The 7-day period starts:

  • From the delivery date shown on tracking
  • Not from the order date or shipping date

Eligible Reasons for Returns

I accept returns on art prints for:

  • Item arrived damaged
  • The wrong item was sent
  • Print quality issues (defects, printing errors)
  • Item significantly different from description

Non-Eligible Reasons

I cannot accept returns for:

  • Change of mind after 7 days
  • “I don’t like it anymore.”
  • Wrong size ordered (please double-check before ordering)
  • Color looks different on your wall (monitors display colors differently)
  • Damage caused after delivery

How to Request a Return

If you need to return something, here’s what to do:

Step 1: Contact Me Within 7 Days

  • Please email me with your order details
  • Include photos of the item (especially if damaged)
  • Explain the reason for the return
  • Must be within 7 days of delivery

Step 2: Wait for Approval

  • I’ll review your request within 24-48 hours
  • I’ll let you know if your return is approved
  • I’ll provide return instructions

Step 3: Return the Item

  • Pack the item securely (same condition as received)
  • Use the return instructions I provide
  • Good news: I cover return shipping costs!
  • Please send it back to the address provided

Step 4: Receive Your Refund

  • Once I receive and inspect the item
  • Your refund will be processed
  • Money back to your original payment method

Return Conditions

Return Conditions

For your return to be accepted, the item must:

Be in original condition

  • Unopened/unused (if applicable)
  • No damage caused by you
  • All original packaging included

Be returned within 7 days of delivery

Include proof of purchase

  • Order number
  • Receipt or confirmation email

Items that show signs of use, damage, or are not in original condition will NOT be accepted for return.

Shipping Costs for Returns

Who Pays for Return Shipping?

I do! Here’s how it works:

For Damaged/Wrong Items:

  • I pay 100% of the return shipping
  • I’ll provide a prepaid shipping label
  • Or reimburse your shipping costs

For All Eligible Returns:

  • I cover the return shipping cost
  • You won’t be charged for sending it back
  • I want to make this easy for you!

How Return Shipping Works

  1. I approve your return
  2. I will send you a prepaid return label via email
  3. You print and attach it to the package
  4. Drop it off at the shipping location
  5. No cost to you!

If prepaid labels aren’t available in your location:

  • Ship the item back using a trackable method
  • Keep your receipt
  • I’ll reimburse the shipping cost with your refund

Refund Process

Your money comes back the same way you paid:

  • Credit/Debit Card – Refunded to the same card
  • PayPal – Refunded to your PayPal account
  • Bank Transfer – Refunded to the same account
  • Other Payment Methods – Same method used for purchase

Store Credit Option:

  • If you prefer, I can offer store credit instead
  • Use it for future purchases
  • Never expires
  • Just let me know when requesting your return!

Refund Timeline

Once I receive your returned item:

  • Inspection: 1-2 business days
  • Refund Processing: 2-3 business days
  • Money in Your Account: 5-10 business days (depends on your bank)

Total time: Usually 7-15 days from when I receive the return

What You’ll Receive Back

Full purchase price of the item, Original shipping cost (if item was damaged/wrong), Return shipping cost (I cover this)

You won’t be charged any restocking fees – I don’t do that!

Damaged or Defective Items

I take extra care in packaging, but sometimes accidents happen during shipping.

If Your Item Arrives Damaged

Do this immediately:

  1. Take photos – Document the damage
    • Photo of the shipping box
    • Photo of the damaged item
    • Photo of the packing materials
  2. Don’t throw anything away
    • Keep all packaging
    • Keep the damaged item
    • I may need it for shipping claims
  3. Contact me within 7 days
    • Email with photos
    • Describe the damage
    • Include your order number

What Happens Next

I’ll send a replacement at no cost (if available) OR provide a full refund immediately. I handle all shipping claims. You don’t pay for anything.

Your options:

  • Free replacement shipped to you
  • Full refund to the original payment method
  • Store credit for future purchase

Mistakes happen! If I sent you the wrong item:

What To Do

  1. Contact me within 7 days with:
    • Photo of what you received
    • Your order number
    • What you actually ordered
  2. Keep the wrong item until I contact you

What I’ll Do

Send you the correct item immediately. Provide a prepaid return label for the wrong item. Cover all shipping costs. Apologize sincerely!

You won’t pay anything for my mistake.

Non-Returnable Items

These items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Original one-of-a-kind paintings (unless damaged/wrong item)
  • Custom or personalized artwork
  • Digital downloads (once accessed)
  • Items marked as “Final Sale.”
  • Gift cards or store credit

Exception: Even non-returnable items can be returned if they arrive damaged or are the wrong item.

Late or Missing Refunds

  1. Recheck your bank account (sometimes it takes time)
  2. Contact your credit card company (processing can take days)
  3. Contact your bank (there may be processing delays)

Still nothing?

  • Please email me with your order details
  • I’ll investigate immediately
  • I’ll provide proof of refund processing

  • My processing: 2-3 business days after I receive the return
  • Bank processing: 5-10 business days
  • Credit cards: 1-2 billing cycles may be needed

Exchanges

Do I Offer Exchanges?

Currently, I do not offer direct exchanges. Here’s why:

  • Each painting is unique and one-of-a-kind
  • Limited stock on prints
  • Easier to do a refund + new order

How to “Exchange”

If you want something different:

  1. Request a return following the usual process
  2. Receive your refund
  3. Place a new order for what you want

International Returns

Returns from Outside the UK

I accept international returns under the same conditions, but please note:

Return Shipping:

  • I cover return shipping costs
  • It may take longer for international shipping
  • Use a trackable shipping method

Customs and Duties:

  • Any customs fees on the return are non-refundable
  • You may need to mark the package as “Return.”

Processing Time:

  • It may take 2-4 weeks for international returns
  • Refunds are processed once I receive the item
